For anyone who want to know anything about Hawaii, there is a new encyclopedia online. Mutual Publishing, a Honolulu-based publisher has created Hawaiian Encyclopedia: A Comprehensive Guide To The Hawaiian Islands History, Culture, Native Species, Science. the author is Daniel Harrington and it can be found at http://www.hawaiianencyclopedia.com/. I've only glanced through the table of contents, but already I can tell that this will be a marvelous resource. I'm looking forward to spending hours on the site.

Therein lies the problem, of course. The site can easily become a work avoider for me if I'm not careful. All in the name of research of course. Guess I'll have to be careful.
