St. Louis Marathon, April 9, 2006

That's me on the left with my mother, Delphine Troy, in the center and my running partner, Ernie Wright. We're at Delmar and Hanley, about 17 miles into the race, and feeling pretty good, having just conquered probably the steepest, though not the longest, hill on the course. From looking at the picture, you'd never guess that agony is only a couple of miles away.
