- I write the Val Lyon private eye series. Val appears in one novel, Pilikia Is My Business, recently re-released by Ilium Books, and seven short stories. The short stories are now available in one collection, Game Face When not writing, I spend a lot of time on the road, training for marathons, that is. I've run 19 marathons so far and have begun doing triathlons.

Enjoyed driving over from Brenham today for the mystery writer's panel. You did a great job of moderating a nice trio of authors. Had to scoot out too soon to hang around long at the end.
